This site is a collection of pictures of the Old Capitol Theatre.
My Friend Charlie Archibald, who is no longer with us,
was the Projectionist at The Old Capitol from 1941 to 1963
Charlie always refered to The Old Capitol, as "The Nice One"
Before Charlie Passed away, he gave me all his pictures and negatives he had of the Old Capitol.
Charlie Asked me to watch his negatives and pictures for him for awhile.
I guess I will be looking after the pictures and negatives for a bit longer.
So as a tribute to Charlie, with all the wonderful things he told me about the Old Capitol,
I am sharing them here for all of Antigonish and the rest of the World to see.
All the pictures were Charlie's except the two of the Capitol on fire.
